La Selva Biological Station

Discover the biodiversity of a lowland tropical rainforest. Walk through trails and habitats of more than 300 species of trees, 420 species of birds (ideal for bird watching), 500 species of butterflies and 400 species of ants with bilingual and naturalist guides. Each half-day guided walk is approximately 3 and 1/2 hours long, principally on cement and boardwalk trails suitable for people of all ages. Some trails are accessible for the physically impaired.

La Selva is apporximately a 1 hour drive from Resort Martino.
