The
white water rafting is done mainly on two rivers: The Pacuare and the
Reventazón. The Pacuare is a little more difficult than the other.
The rivers are close to each other and the guides decide to which one
to send the guests.
The tour starts in the morning; you will be picked up at the hotel and
taken to the Orosí Valley; you will enjoy a typical tico breakfast
on the way. Skilled guides are waiting for you and will evaluate the
group dividing them according to their capacities. Each participant
will receive helmet paddle and safe jacket. Pacuare river is considered
the most beautiful in Costa Rica and amongst the nicest in the world.
Anyway one of the best to practice rafting. The view is enchanting:
waterfalls, trials and a huge diversity of flora and fauna. Extensión
is 18.5 miles and time 3.5 hours. Minimum age requested is 15 years
old.
