The San José City tour enables you to experience all that the capital city has to offer. From the turn of the century National Theater to the hustle and bustle of the Central Market, there is something for everyone's taste: museums, shopping and restaurants. This is a very good way to experience the local culture. The gold museum has the second largest exhibit of pre-Colombian gold in the world. The Jade museum has one of the largest pre-Colombian Jade exhibits. Plus, there are numerous other museums. We will go through the campus of the University of Costa Rica, which has an average of 20,000 students and is the most prestigious university in Central America. We will also pass through residential communities. We will stop at jewelry and leather stores where you'll find very good bargains in both. We will also stop at a typic restaurant.
